Carmen Media's Reponse to New Global Betting Report

The Carmen Media Group, owner of Belle Rock Gaming's seven online casinos, three online poker rooms and online sportsbook, responded swiftly to the media coverage generated in response to the publication of Global Betting and Gaming Consultant' third annual report.

Media coverage focussed on what is described as a 'gambling frenzy' particularly within the UK, and largely attributed to the growth of online gambling with a corresponding increase in women players.

Carmen Media CEO, Tim Johnson, commented

'We always find GBGC's annual report makes interesting reading. The media response is naturally sensationalist: We can certainly confirm that there is increased interest in online gaming as an entertaining leisure pastime, and that many of our customers - and interestingly our most successful winners - are women.
