Poker: Coming To A Mobile Phone Near You

EGET (European Game & Entertainment Technology), a Finnish supplier of money games for the mobile Internet, has developed a mobile poker game for UK-based content and applications provider, Stream Group. Stream will now be The Poker Channel's exclusive provider of mobile poker and other mobile game products.

EGET's mobile poker is the first product launched by The Poker Channel under the ‘Poker Heaven’ brand and hopes that the software will be available to more than 25 million European homes by the beginning of 2006.

Gordon Robson, Executive Chairman of Stream Group plc, said, 'The Poker Channel is enjoying huge success as the world's first television channel dedicated to poker and therefore is an ideal partner for our new mobile poker product.'
