Online Casino Offers Team Poker

Online poker website PokerRoom.com has developed a team play format for Poker, which allows friends and family to team up and battle it out with other online teams.

The new team play option allows members at PokerRoom.com to either join an existing team or set up a team of their own, with sizes of these teams ranging from five to ten players. Management of the teams is handled by the player who first registers the team and is responsible for setting up competition events for team and the all-important management of team funds.

Teams can either play in ‘Leagues’ or ‘Eliminators’. Leagues are a longer-play option, while Eliminators are head-to-head battles that match teams on a once-off game.
