Tuesday 24th January 2006 Aces.com Sends Two Lucky Online Casino Players to Super Bowl
Two lucky Aces.com players are going all-expenses paid to Detroit to watch Super Bowl XL courtesy of the online casino. Tom S. of Amsterdam, the winner of Aces.com’s final weekly poker tournament, and Robert H., Aces.com’s ‘Fan of the Season’, have won a prize package including airfares, hotel accomodation and tickets to the game for them and a guest.
“I played in the tournament just about every week, but I’m really just an average card player,” said the Tom. “When it got down to two players, I was well behind and I just tried to double up a couple of times. The other players were all great – but we all wanted that grand prize!”
Rene Quesada, Aces.com Brand Manager explained the ‘Fan of the Year’ concept by saying, “Every wager was an entry in our free ‘Fan of the Season’ contest. We did a random draw and pulled Robert H. of Alabama’s name. Lucky guy – he gets to experience the biggest sporting event of the year first hand. I hope he’s got a couple of bucks riding on it cause I’d say he’s on a winning streak!”
