One-Way Super Bowl Action Doesn’t Worry Big Sports Books

February 2, 2006 (Miami, FL) -- One-way action on this weekend’s Super Bowl may have smaller online sports books worried, but SportingbetUSA.com – part of the largest gambling company in the world – has hedged it’s bets with hundreds of proposition bets.

In a sports book’s perfect world, the action is split 50/50. But with the money coming in hot and heavy on the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, many bookmakers are bracing themselves – especially after the season of unprecedented payouts on underdog wins. Even the championship games were a disaster as a lot of bettors had a Pittsburgh-Seattle parlay.

“We’re part of the worlds’ largest gambling company, so we can ride out a tough season OK,” said SportingbetUSA.com Manager, Tony Delgado. “And we’re offering hundreds of proposition bets, so that spreads the action around.”

“I’m surprised to see the action so one-sided, myself,” said Delgado. “The Steelers are scary, I know. They were never beaten by an NFC team, and in their last 7 regular season and playoff games the combined total score was 211- 85. On the other hand, the Seahawks bring loads of big game experience to the table in the form of both coaches and players”

“If Seattle slows down the Steeler blitz packages with a lot of screen passes, and if they can bust Alexander for a couple of long runs, you never know… West Coast teams are 8-4 in Super Bowl games, thanks to San Francisco’s great record. Could be Seattle money’s just holding off until late Saturday to get the Seahawks at 5 ½ - 6!”

Current odds and hundreds of Super Bowl betting props are posted at SportingbetUSA.com.
