Wednesday 1st September 2004 AngelCiti announce dates for Midas share distribution
AngelCiti Entertainment Inc has announced the dividend date and payment date for the shares held in Midas Entertainment Inc. The move indicates the splitting of the two companies to operate more effectively as separate entities, with two distinct management teams.
AngelCiti has announced that the dividend date will be 4pm Eastern Time on 22 September, while the payment date will be 4pm Eastern time on 24 September. On these dates shareholders of AngelCiti will receive a corresponding number of shares for Midas Entertainment, either as actual certificates should they be a certificate holder in AngelCiti, or direct into their brokerage account should that be the form of their share holdings.
Midas has recently become a publicly traded company, and started operating CityPoker.com. President of AngelCiti George Gutierrez explained this new development for AngelCiti alongside the announcement of the dates and details of the distribution of shares. He commented that “This completes our announced commitment to shareholders of the spin-off of the online poker operations. Both companies can now more effectively operate under separate management teams, which we strongly feel is in the best interests of each company and of the share holders”.
