Poker Tournament Winner to Attend NASCAR Race

February 21, 2006 (Las Vegas, NV) – The winner of this Wednesday’s regular free roll poker tournament at Aces.com will win a VIP Pit Pass for the Stater Brothers 300, Saturday’s NASCAR Busch Series race. California Speedway will also host the Nextel Cup Series Auto Club 500 on Sunday.

After his decisive win of the Daytona 500 last weekend, Jimmy Johnson’s odds to win the Auto Club 500 are 10-1 matching defending champion Tony Stewart. Other top contenders include Greg Biffle (6-1), Jeff Gordon (12-1) Carl Edwards (7-1) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (20-1). (All odds at Aces.com as of February 21, 2006).

Saturday’s race is the first in the 25th season of the NASCAR Busch Series, which was formed in 1982 when NASCAR consolidated the old Late Model Sportsman division into a touring series for cars with less horsepower. It uses similar race procedures to the Winston Cup Series, and most Busch races have a rule to limit tire usage and save costs.

“This won’t be the first time one of our regular Wednesday afternoon players has walked away from the table with a plane ticket,” said Rene Queseda, Manager of Aces.com. “Last month, the prize one week was an all-expense paid trip to the Super Bowl!”

The prize package includes airfare and accommodations, pits and garage access before and during the race, photos with NASCAR drivers, team scanners to listen to driver/crew communication, and tickets to the infield VIP box. Any Aces.com player can join the Free Roll Poker Tournament on Wednesday for a chance to win the NASCAR prize package. For details and to logon, see: http://www.aces.com/poker/freeroll.php.

Just like the Vegas hotels, Aces.com offers a odds to win and match-up props on NASCAR races. Updated odds on this weekend’s racing – the Stater Bros. 300, February 25 and the Auto Club 500, February 26 will be posted at Aces.com/Sportsbook.
