Paris Hilton (and her bankroll) Sets Sights on Poker World

She may be known worldwide for a compromising home movie, being lambasted by ‘trendy’ singer Pink and her ability to squander a vast inheritance, but now Paris Hilton looks to be shaping up for a career as a poker pro.

The Hilton heiress has apparently learned the game during downtime with her sister Nicky and has been practicing on the tables at Vegas and claims that in recent months that she’s become “obsessed” and that poker is now her “favourite game”. What’s more, with her endless bankroll, Hilton doesn’t seem to have any fear, meaning her opponents do.

If the guys at the World Poker Tour have any sense (and from the amount they make it’s safe to assume they do), then maybe Hilton could become the next big poker star. The game would become even more global and open up to new markets, making Paris even more famous. Now there’s something we all want to see.
