Thursday 29th July 2004 Carmen Media Suspends Purchase by Means of Solo Debit Card
The Carmen Media Group today acted swiftly in response to the findings on underage gaming published by children's charity NCH and GamCare in the UK.
With immediate effect they have suspended purchasing online by means of Solo Debit card. This applies to all of their online casinos, their three poker rooms and sportsbook.* Customers over the age of eighteen who are currently using this payment method will be migrated onto acceptable alternatives.
Carmen Media Group, and through that their Belle Rock Gaming family of online entertainment products is committed to actively work with the government and the excellent organisations that protect youngsters from inappropriate internet usage.
Improvement and enhancement of verification procedures is ongoing, and forms a central part of the company's commitment to lead the industry with respect to responsible gaming.
