Johnson, who has admitted that if he were to waive his no-trade clause and make a move, his $33 million loss in salary would give the D'backs a chance to get back into contention in a league where they trail with a miserable 31-58 outlook.
'Johnson, who is no relative of mine by the way, has made it clear that he wants to get back on a winning team.' said Dave Johnson, CEO of WAGERWEB. When asked about earlier statements made such as, 'I don't want to leave Arizona.' he is reported to have admitted, 'I don't know if I could say that any longer.'
