Where will Randy Johnson play for rest of 2004 MLB Season

WagerWeb (WagerWeb.com)

Zapote, Costa Rica 00000

Tel: 1.866.371.9835

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Zapote, Costa Rica, 12 July 2004)-Snubbed by the ESPY Awards, in spite of pitching a perfect game in Atlanta in May, the Big Unit is enjoying big time media attention over speculation that he is entertaining a possible deal to flee last-place Arizona. Johnson, who has admitted that if he were to waive his no-trade clause and make a move, his $33 million loss in salary would give the D'backs a chance to get back into contention in a league where they trail with a miserable 31-58 outlook.

'Johnson, who is no relative of mine by the way, has made it clear that he wants to get back on a winning team.' said Dave Johnson, CEO of WAGERWEB. 'At forty years of age, he does not have much time left to repeat his co-MVP performance of 2001, when Arizona took out the Yankees in that seven-game World Series thriller. The Big Unit still has the stuff, and while his ERA at 2.84 is only 6th in the NL (minimum 100 innings), he boasts a 10-7 record and a league leading 154 strikeouts. When asked about earlier statements made such as, 'I don't want to leave Arizona.' he is reported to have admitted, 'I don't know if I could say that any longer.' He apparently has the gift to keep batters guessing too.'

About WagerWeb.com

WagerWeb is a privately held, offshore, online, gaming company. It is fully licensed and is located in beautiful San Jose, Costa Rica, a major center of online gaming. It got into the business in a very deliberate and independent way. Nine years ago, several staffers, now management of WagerWeb, got together to review the state of the online gambling industry. They quickly concluded that there was extraordinary potential for success, and they also realized there was a clear need for a professional, secure and service driven facility for the growing numbers of online players.

Characteristically, the WagerWeb planners got off to a quick start. WagerWeb created a modest internet business that appeared to meet the perceived need. During the intervening years since then, it has continually proved it has the right formula, because it has grown and improved every year. Today, it is part of an expanding affiliate network that includes over fifty sports book companies.

WagerWeb now offers online and telephone sports betting, casino gambling, horse racing and Poker rooms. It specializes in propositional wagering, in fact, it appears to be setting the example and leading the way.

Behind the action and the play offered by WagerWeb is a knowledgeable and respected staff. They recognize the universal fact that players, i.e., their many guests, come first. Customer service, we are told, is more than a polite catch-phrase, it is more like a way of life at WagerWeb. The staff continually strive to ensure the security, privacy, and quick service for all of their customers.
