Friday 20th October 2006 Paddy Power Offers Odds On Dublin European Poker Tour
Paddy Power has opened the book on 'outright betting' and 'to make final table' markets for the European Poker Tour's event in Dublin.
The Irish bookmaker is offering odds on each Tour event including stopovers in London, Dublin, Copenhagen, Baden, Deauville and Monte Carlo.
The Dublin EPT event, held in the Regency Hotel from 26-29 October 2006, is one of the most popular on the tour, selling out last year and increasing its capacity to 500 this year.
Paddy Power, head of communications, said, 'We lost our shirts at the last big Dublin tournament, the Irish Open and while we are hoping to make a few euro this time around we'd love to see an Irish player win this. If one does, the pints of Guinness will be on him!'
Odds to make the final table:
8-1 Gus Hansen
10-1 Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliot
12-1 Roy ‘The Boy’ Brindley
16-1 Joe Hachem
16-1 Mats Gavatin
16-1 Donnacha O’Dea
25-1 Tony Cascarino
33-1 Isabelle Mercier
