Monday 23rd October 2006 BetDirect Teams up with Microgaming
BetDirect has announced that it is to be using Microgaming software for its poker and casino products, with BetDirect Poker becoming part of the Microgaming Poker Network.
The announcement brings the total number of new poker and casino operations to have joined the Microgaming portfolio in 2006 to nearly twenty, with the company expected to make further announcements later this year that will confirm its status as the Internet’s fastest growing poker network.
Ed Ware, CEO, said of the announcement, “Microgaming’s consistent track record in providing quality software for both casino and poker enables us to deliver a first class service to our customers, thus it was a natural choice for us.'
Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever, also lauded the news, “We are delighted to be attracting a front rank operation such as BetDirect and fully believe this is a reflection of the success we have achieved with 32Red to date.”
