Poker Players Win Big During Surprising September at 888.com

888.com has announced that September 2006 saw one of the online casino’s biggest giveaways ever.

888.com players at both Pacific Poker and Casino-on-Net walked away with thousands of dollars worth of prizes during the month-long giveaway. One poker player walked away with a prize pool of $52,500 after winning a “Surprising September” online poker tournament.

Alex Reign, Promotions Department Manager, revealed that the top prize winner of the tournament was a true underdog story. “The player deposited only $52 and took home over $52,000,” Reign said. Dozens of other players also took home their share of the $250,000 prize pool.
