Tuesday 29th August 2006 Trent Tucker Charity Event to Include Poker Tournament
Former NBA player Trent Tucker has announced that the eighth Annual Trent Tucker Celebrity Golf & Poker Tournament, in partnership with the World Poker Stores will take place on September 8 and 9.
The event will see some of the world's greatest sports and poker legends joining Trent Tucker for a weekend of golf, poker and celebrity parties in Minnesota in support of the Trent Tucker Youth Program.
'We are excited to expand our event to include poker to the weekend of events,' said host, Trent Tucker. 'Our event will welcome an unprecedented cast of sports and poker celebrities to the area to benefit kids who are less fortunate.'
From the household names like Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, and other NBA greats to Poker's elite including Phil Hellmuth and Greg Raymer, more than 40 celebrities have confirmed they will appear at the event, putting at least one celebrity at every table in the tournament.
'Professional Players love to play with their professional athlete counterparts and visa versa,' said World Poker Store CEO Chuck Chastain. 'Events like these allow them to have a great time with each other and their fans while generating funds for a worthy cause.'
