Monday 7th August 2006 Pokerlistings.com Presents Video Interview Footage from WSOP
In a bid to make their site a one-stop-shop for everything the avid poker fan needs to know about this years World Series of Poker tournament, Pokerlistings.com has announced that it will be featuring daily video interviews from some of the world’s top poker pros.
'PokerListings.com has sat down with some of poker’s biggest names to bring our readers unique access to the predictions, thoughts, hopes and strategies of today’s poker greats,' said Staffan Rydin, editor in chief of PokerListings.com. 'Upcoming video interview segments with Johnny Chan, Barry Greenstein and Antonio Esfandiari will provide an inside look at the versatile characters that have helped take poker to the level it’s at today.'
The daily video is being produced by Point Pictures, a Vancouver-based television, film and Internet video production company. Past video interviewees include Andy Bloch, Dutch Boyd, Vince Van Patten and Rob Varkonyi.
'PokerListings.com was able to get these poker pros to open up during interviews and really get to the heart of their poker desires,' said Dani Elias, executive producer and CEO of Point Pictures. 'Visitors to the site are going to hear their favourite pros talk about their poker beginnings, dream match-ups and their thoughts on the future of the WSOP, among other things.'
