Bingo! Sun Calls In Impressive Numbers

The Sun newspaper’s bingo site has grown to become the highest-earning business partnership on the internet with revenue climbing up to a staggering £3.8 million for the last financial year.

News Group Digital, operators of the Sun Online, Page3.com and the News of the World website, saw a 280 percent year-on-year upsurge in revenues as a result of several profitable partnerships including those between thesun-poker.co.uk and the Victor Chandler group and a deal that saw Ladbrokes incarnated as the official gaming partner of TheSun.co.uk and the Newsoftheworld.co.uk, offering co-branded online betting and gaming.

SunBingo.co.uk, in partnership with Tombola, also claims the accolade of being the largest web-only bingo game in the UK with 110,000 unique users each month and 9,000 every day.
