Monday 31st March 2008 Fourth ASOP In Cyprus
Online gaming resource site CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com has announced that it will hold the fourth Affiliate Series of Poker (ASOP) during its upcoming Spring Break networking event in Cyprus.
The ASOP is an international series of tournaments specifically for affiliates with prizes ranging from $20,000 to seats at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas not to mention a gold and diamond bracelet for the winner. The next ASOP will take place at the Grand Resort near Limassol from May 20 to 22 and consist of a no-limit Texas hold 'em knock-out tournament with increasing blinds with the final six contestants winning accommodation for Casino Affiliate Programs Euro event in Barcelona.
Sponsored by Everest Affiliates and Affiliate Club, the event will be free for affiliates registering to attend the offline event in Cyprus and, unlike previous tournaments, the field of players will be increased to 50 and played as a freeze-out following feedback from previous final table qualifiers.
For legal reasons, organisers will be unable to award cash prizes for the ASOP but the winner will receive a seat to the WSOP’s main event.
'With the amazing growth and recognition of the ASOP tournaments, we wanted to make the poker conference event extra special,” said Jeremy Enke, General Manager of PokerAffiliatePrograms.com.
“So we decided to go ‘all-in’ and give the winner a WSOP main event package as well as the coveted diamond ASOP bracelet. With over $20,000 in value to the winner, I can't think of a better affiliate free-roll in the history of our industry.'
Freerolls for the event will be held from April until mid-May at ASOP.com and should see a repeat of previous qualifications when over 100 affiliates attempted to qualify.
